Callithrix Hybrids Skulls
These cranio-mandibular illustrations of Callithrix hybrids were commissioned by Adrielle M. Cezar, author of the published work Morphological and Genetic Variation Among Callithrix Hybrids in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. To create illustrations of the same skull seen from different angles, a thorough observation was made of skulls from specimens deposited in the zoological mammal collection of the Museu Nacional/UFRJ, in addition to other illustrations already made and present in books. The markings present in the first four illustrations and in the printout of the article are measurements adopted by the authors to make metric comparisons between the specimens analyzed.
